It is so hard to think that it has been 50 years since our graduation from Tucker High School. I certainly lived up to my Senior Quote……There is a method to my madness…..

I certainly do not feel as old as I am and have a lot be thankful for. I recently learned that I am older than Tupperware and that was a little shocking.

I was married for 23 years to Joe Cavender, had three beautiful and wonderful daughters. Those three girls are now my good friends and are so very special.

I was married for 7-1/2 years to Ed Webster. He died in 1994 with a sudden heart attach, so that was “till death do us part”.

I married Ed Minar in 1997 and we will celebrate 15 years of marriage in July. I have a great life. We are active in our church, Sunrise Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, and enjoy grandchildren.

I certainly did not have dreams of having three husbands when I grew up. That is simply what life sent my way.

I have six grandchildren, one great grandchild and another on the way. I have two step grandchildren. Two of my daughters live nearby and one daughter is in Charleston, SC.

I worked in the steel industry for a while. I attended DeKalb College for two years.
I worked for many years in the mailing list industry, mostly medical and then went to school for my nursing assistant. I now do private sitting.

I lost my mom in 1996 and my dad in 1999. I still miss them so much.

My two sisters still live nearby.
Linda – Tucker class of 1958 – widowed and lives in Monroe, GA
Wanda – Tucker class of 1972 – single and in Snellville, GA

I don’t think I would change a lot about my life if I could. I would have stayed closer to classmates and sorry that I lost touch.
I would not have let anyone steal my boyfriends.
